Baptism
"Jesus said “Amen, Amen I say to you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and spirit".
- John 3:5
Baptism is the first of the Sacraments of Initiation and the gateway to the Christian life. Through it, we are freed from sin, become adopted children of God, and are incorporated into Christ and His Church. The Holy Spirit strengthens us to walk in the light of Christ and to grow in holiness.
Who Can Be Baptized?
Anyone who has not yet received Christian baptism may be baptized. This includes infants, children, and adults. Baptism creates a permanent bond with Christ and the Church; therefore, it is never repeated.
