Along with Catholics across the United States, our parish gathered in prayer for the Consecration of our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Following nine days of preparation through the Sacred Heart Novena, parishioners joined together at the 8:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 6:00 PM Masses to entrust our country, our families, and our community to the loving Heart of Christ.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us and on our nation.

A beautiful and faith-filled moment in our Religious Education program as our 6th grade students consecrated their hearts to Jesus through Our Lady and St. Joseph. The girls, the Stars of Mary, entrusted themselves to the care of the Blessed Mother, while the boys, the Tools of St. Joseph, consecrated themselves to St. Joseph.

May Mary and St. Joseph continue to guide, protect, and inspire these children as they grow in faith, virtue, and love for Christ.

Last Sunday, we celebrated our final Family Mass before the beginning of the summer schedule. We are grateful for all the families, children, altar servers, musicians, volunteers, and parishioners who helped make the Family Mass such a joyful and faith-filled part of parish life throughout the year.

A special evening with our Religious Education catechists as we gathered in gratitude at the close of the year. Thank you for helping plant seeds of faith, love, and truth in the hearts of our students. Your generosity, dedication, and witness are a blessing to our parish community. May God continue to bless each of you abundantly.

The St. Agnes Emmaus Ministry joyfully celebrated its 25th anniversary with a beautiful Holy Mass followed by a joyful reception. We thank God for the many lives touched, hearts renewed, and encounters with Christ experienced through this ministry over the years. May the Lord continue blessing the Emmaus community and all those who serve through it.

We are proud to share that St. Agnes alumnus Diego Halvorssen, currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Florida State University, recently received First Place at the EUREKA Research Symposium among 27 student presenters for his outstanding engineering research project.

Under the guidance of his professors and research team, Diego worked on the design and development of a specialized pressure vessel for scientific testing and experimentation. His project was recognized not only for its technical excellence, but also for the quality of his presentation, research methodology, and dedication to his work.

Diego’s achievement reflects the fruits of perseverance, curiosity, discipline, and a commitment to excellence. He serves as a wonderful example to the young people of our parish and school community, showing how faith, hard work, and the gifts God has given each of us can be used to serve others and contribute positively to the world.

We congratulate Diego on this remarkable accomplishment and keep him in our prayers as he continues pursuing his studies and future career. We are proud to call him part of the St. Agnes family!

With grateful hearts, we celebrated the priestly anniversaries of Father Juan Carlos Paguaga (26 years of priesthood) and Father Jorge Reyes (his first anniversary as a priest!) this past week. We thank God for their faithful service, joyful witness, and spiritual guidance to our parish community.

Please continue to keep Father JC and Father Jorge in your prayers as they continue living their priestly vocation with generosity and love. Ad multos annos!

Welcome to the Church, Joaquin Martinez! We rejoice as Joaquin received the Sacrament of Baptism at St. Agnes Catholic Parish. May the Lord bless him abundantly, fill his life with grace and joy, and guide him always in His love.

We keep Joaquin and his family in our prayers on this beautiful and blessed day.

With joyful hearts and bright smiles, our young altar servers faithfully assist at the 10:00 AM Family Mass (*) each Sunday. Their enthusiasm, and willingness to serve at the altar are a beautiful reminder of the innocence and faith Christ calls us to imitate.

As Jesus says in the Gospel:
“Unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.”
— Matthew 18:3

We are grateful for these children and for the families who encourage them to grow in love for the Lord and His Church through their service.

We rejoice with Michael DeNapoles and Daniela Aguilera as they celebrated the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony at St. Agnes Catholic Parish. United in the covenant of marriage and strengthened by God’s grace, may they grow together in faith, hope, and love, always keeping Christ at the center of their home and vocation.

We joyfully witness the union of Catalina and Jacques Indekeu in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony at St. Agnes Catholic Parish. Joined in Christ and strengthened by His grace, they begin their vocation as husband and wife. May their covenant be a living sign of Christ’s faithful love and a source of blessing for all.

We rejoice with Alanis Bacino & Hugo Alban as they celebrated the beautiful Sacrament of Holy Matrimony at St. Agnes Catholic Parish. Surrounded by the love of their families, friends, and the grace of God, they began their new life together united in Christ’s love.

What a grace-filled day at St. Agnes. Our CCD and Academy students received the Sacrament of Confirmation, sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit. Archbishop Thomas Wenski presided over the Mass, with Father Juan Carlos and Father Jorge concelebrating.

It was truly an incredible time with the Lord, filled with His presence, His peace, and the outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit upon our confirmandi. In Confirmation, the Church teaches that we are strengthened by the Holy Spirit, more deeply united to Christ, and sent forth to live boldly as His witnesses in the world. “Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit.”

May they go forth with courage, wisdom, and zeal. As Catherine of Siena reminds us:

“Be who God meant you to be, and you will set the world on fire.”
