820 Years of Priestly Service Recognized: Including Father JC’s Silver Jubilee

On October 1, 2025, Florida Catholic featured a diocesan roundup celebrating 18 priests who marked milestone jubilees this year—diamond, gold, and silver, together representing 820 years of priestly service. The jubilarians were honored by Archbishop Thomas Wenski and brother priests at the Chrism Mass on Tuesday of Holy Week, April 15, 2025, at St. Mary Cathedral (Miami).

Among the priests recognized is our pastor, Father Juan Carlos Paguaga, who celebrated 25 years (Silver Jubilee) of priestly ordination. The article also includes brief biographies of each jubilarian, from those ordained 65 and 60 years ago, to the priests celebrating 50 years, and those marking 25 years.

As a parish, we rejoice with Father JC and give thanks for all the jubilarians whose faithful “yes” has served our Archdiocese for generations.
