Emmaus Women’s Retreat at Homestead Correctional Institution

Last weekend, an Emmaus Women’s Retreat was held at the Homestead Correctional Institution as part of the mission and outreach of the Archdiocese of Miami. It was an incredible and deeply moving experience marked by prayer, encounter, and the healing mercy of God.

We are especially proud and grateful that many of the parishioners who served on the retreat team were from our own St. Agnes community. Their generous witness, compassion, and willingness to accompany others made this weekend a true sign of hope and faith in action.

It was a powerful reminder that Christ meets us everywhere, and that through service, we become instruments of His love and mercy.
