Preparing the Ashes: A Living Tradition

For the first time, our Religious Education students participated in the burning of last year’s palms to prepare the ashes for Ash Wednesday.

This meaningful tradition helped them understand the journey from Palm Sunday to the Cross — and the call to conversion as we enter the holy season of Lent.
