Sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit
What a grace-filled day at St. Agnes. Our CCD and Academy students received the Sacrament of Confirmation, sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit. Archbishop Thomas Wenski presided over the Mass, with Father Juan Carlos and Father Jorge concelebrating.
It was truly an incredible time with the Lord, filled with His presence, His peace, and the outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit upon our confirmandi. In Confirmation, the Church teaches that we are strengthened by the Holy Spirit, more deeply united to Christ, and sent forth to live boldly as His witnesses in the world.
“Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit.”
May they go forth with courage, wisdom, and zeal. As Catherine of Siena reminds us:
“Be who God meant you to be, and you will set the world on fire.”
