October 2025 - From the Pastor’s Desk
Dear Parish Family,
October, the month of the Holy Rosary, invites us to turn our gaze toward Our Blessed Mother, she who leads us gently but surely to her Son. In a world that is so busy and distracted, Mary teaches us to slow down, to listen, to pray, and to let our hearts rest in God.
Each time we take up the Rosary, we walk hand in hand with her through the mysteries of Jesus’ life: His joy, His suffering, His glory. It is in this rhythm of prayer that we find peace, clarity, and strength for our journey.
This month, we also celebrate so many beloved saints who remind us that holiness is possible in every life and vocation: St. Thérèse of Lisieux, who teaches us the power of small acts of love; St. Francis of Assisi, model of simplicity and joy; St. Carlo Acutis, the young apostle of the Eucharist; St. Teresa of Ávila, master of prayer and contemplation; St. John Paul II, who called us to open wide the doors to Christ; and so many more who inspire us to follow Christ boldly.
As the seasons begin to change, may we allow our hearts to be changed too, by growing in gratitude, perseverance, and trust.
Let us entrust our families, our parish, and our world to Mary’s maternal care, asking her to keep us close to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In Christ and Our Lady,
Fr. JC Paguaga
