8 Years of Adoring the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament
A note by Father jc
Dear St. Agnes Families,
Blessings!
Eight years ago, a small group of six young girls asked to gather on Monday nights to adore the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. What began as a humble desire to sing to Him has become something beautiful, a living tradition that continues to draw hearts closer to Jesus every week.
Today, around 300 people come to adore the Lord every Monday night, while confessions are heard throughout the evening. It has become a true moment of mercy, where the presence of Christ brings comfort and peace to all who come before Him, seeking rest in His very presence.
The AGNES Youth Choir stands as a radiant witness of what happens when young people offer their gifts to God. It is truly the Lord who has drawn so many hearts -especially young ones- to His Eucharistic Heart through this ministry of fidelity. Each prayer, each song, becomes an offering of love to the One who first loved us.
Thank you to all the youth who are the heart of this Church, the heart of our St. Agnes family. Thank you to the six young girls who first planted the seed of this beautiful tradition, and to every youth who has sung, served, and shared their time and talent so generously throughout the years. You remind us that serving the Lord can be joyful, and that faith can indeed be contagious.
The Lord smiles every Monday in St. Agnes as you offer your talents and help others draw near to His Eucharistic Heart.
Together, we are St. Agnes.
