RESET: Healing Workshop for the First Time at St. Agnes
From the moment of arrival, hearts were ready. What unfolded was far more than a workshop, it was a true encounter with the healing love of God and His Holy Spirit. Guided by special guests, and supported by dedicated organizers and intercessors, our parish welcomed a day filled with praise, teaching, prayer, and deep spiritual renewal.
Ash Wednesday at St. Agnes
This Ash Wednesday, over 2,662 people attended Mass throughout the day to begin the sacred season of Lent together. Marked with ashes and the words, “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return,” we were reminded of our need for conversion and our call to return to the Lord with humble hearts.
Preparing the Ashes: A Living Tradition
For the first time, our Religious Education students participated in the burning of last year’s palms to prepare the ashes for Ash Wednesday. This meaningful tradition helped them understand the journey from Palm Sunday to the Cross — and the call to conversion as we enter the holy season of Lent.
Sending Forth Our Effetá Retreat Servants
At Mass on Wednesday, Febraury 11th, Fr. Juan Carlos offered a special blessing and commissioning for those serving at the upcoming Effetá Retreat. With grateful hearts, we prayed over these young men and women as they prepare to give of themselves in service, guiding others toward a deeper encounter with Christ. May the Holy Spirit lead them, strengthen them, and work powerfully through their witness.
Feast of the Presentation of the Lord (Candlemas)
On Candlemas, we celebrated the Presentation of the Lord, remembering the moment when Jesus was brought to the Temple and revealed as the Light for all nations. With the blessing of candles, we were reminded that Christ is our light, guiding our steps and illuminating our lives. May we carry His light into the world with faith, hope, and love.
Feast of St. Blaise: Blessing of the Throats

It was a beautiful moment of prayer and trust in God’s healing grace, rooted in the faith of the Church and the care of our community.

A Joyful Milestone for Our Parish
On Christmas Day, our priests were able to move into the newly completed Rectory, a truly joyful and meaningful moment for our parish. Having our priests living on campus is a great blessing for St. Agnes, strengthening our parish life and fostering deeper pastoral care and presence among us. Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we are St. Agnes.
A Blessing Before the Journey
Before the Three Kings Parade set out from St. Agnes, Fr. Jorge Reyes offered a special blessing, entrusting the journey to God’s care. This great moment marked the beginning of a joyful celebration that then took place at the Key Biscayne Christmas tree.
As the Three Kings went forth, we were reminded of the Magi’s own journey, guided by faith, hope, and the light of Christ.

It was a beautiful opportunity for the parish office and academy to gather as one family, celebrating the season and giving thanks for the blessings of friendship, faith, and service. A meaningful reminder of how grateful we are for one another and for the mission we share.
Together, we are St. Agnes.
